Market update with Chris Ralph

29 April 2015

Markets continue their advance but geopolitical tensions provide a challenging backdrop.

Chris Ralph, Chief Investment Officer at St. James’s Place, outlines the performance of investment markets in the first quarter of 2015, highlighting the rebound for European equities which were buoyed by the launch of the ECB’s quantitative easing programme. He also talks about the challenges facing Greece as it seeks to agree reforms to secure additional bailout funds from the EU and reflects on the potential impact of the upcoming general election on UK markets.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up.  You may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not indicative of future performance.
